The involvement of the Gale Design team can begin months before a project actually commences on site, as Gale Design Engineer Mark Cade explains; "Producing technical drawings constitutes only a small part of a Design Engineer's brief. There may be many weeks of meetings and technical discussions with Architects, Structural Engineers, Steelwork Contractors and specialist materials suppliers before the project even reaches the computer screen. Potential problems are identified, isolated and resolved long before they have a chance to become problems on site. As a design-driven construction company, we feel that the additional time and money we invest in the design process is the cornerstone of our continuing success".
